TEAM NEWS: Swain to start against Sunwolves, Kuridrani returns

Brumbies lock Darcy Swain will start against the Sunwolves with lock Rory Arnold ruled out of Sunday’s clash.

Sunday’s clash will be Swain’s second start of the season, along with their match against the Crusaders in round eight.

Arnold suffered an ankle injury in last week’s win over the Blues in Canberra and will miss at least this week with Blake Enever taking Swain’s spot on the bench.

Tevita Kuridrani makes his return to the starting lineup after a knee niggle sidelined him in round 12, replacing rookie Len Ikitau at outside centre.

The backrow duo of Locky McCaffrey and David Pocock are both still missing from the lineup with injury.

Tom Cusack, Jahrome Brown and Pete Samu will combine in the backrow again this week after some impressive performances in the absence of Pocock, McCaffrey and Rob Valetini.

The Brumbies are looking for their fifth consecutive win at GIO Stadium in Canberra against the inconsistent Sunwolves.

A victory could also see them rise to the top of the Australian Super Rugby conference, depending on the result of Friday night’s Rebels-Reds clash.

The Brumbies take on the Sunwolves on Sunday May 12, kicking off at 4:05pm AEST, LIVE on FOX SPORTS, Kayo Sports and via RADIO.
