It obviously isn’t enough to have your own talkshow, a production company and a prominent place on Forbes’ 500 list. The most powerful woman in America, Oprah Winfrey, has reportedly been refused entry to the Hermes store in Paris. According to pagesix.com a source said that Winfrey was turned away at the door. “Oprah didn’t have her hair done,” said the source. “When she tries the door, they refused her entry because they have been ‘having a problem with North Africans lately’ and obviously had no clue who she was.”

When questioned, a representative for Winfrey admitted that she was in Paris but declined any further comment. Hermes did not return the paper’s calls.
