Long gone are those days when making idli would require thorough preparation and concoction of the perfect batter. The combination of rice, urad dal, and fenugreek seeds to produce proper circular, fluffy idlis seemed a tedious task for many.

As ready-to-make fried material filled cartons of grocery stores so did ready-to-make batters for lip-smacking idlis, dosa, and vadas. The idea of producing fresh batter which will sell like hotcakes looks so obvious yet no player in the market had thought about it.

As rightly said, successful people, aren’t different just that they do things differently. IIM-Bangalore alumni decided to put cooking woes to rest by launching his own brand called iD Fresh Food in 2006 that offered ready-made idli-dosa batter. Click Here: Golf special
